Gifts and occasion lists

You can give any product without knowing the recipient's address: you pay, and we give you a link to send them so they enter their address themselves. You can also make a list for your occasion that family and friends buy from.

Sending a gift

1. 1Add the gift to your cart and go to checkout.
2. 2Tick This order is a gift for someone else.
3. 3Enter the Recipient's name and Recipient's mobile. You don't need their address.
4. 4If you like: Your message, a voice message (Record), Deliver on a date, a Delivery time (any time, morning, evening, after iftar), and gift wrapping with a card where the seller offers it, with its price.
5. 5Keep it a surprise is ticked by default: the recipient doesn't see what it is until it arrives.
6. 6Choose how to pay and place the order.

After ordering: send the link

1. 1On the order page, tap Send them the link on WhatsApp or Copy link.
2. 2The recipient opens the link, sees your message (and the gift, unless it's a surprise), enters their address and taps Confirm address. They don't need an account.
3. 3The order then goes to the seller, and you're told the recipient entered their address and the gift is on its way.

• The recipient's address goes to the seller only and is never shown to you. The invoice is in your name, without the recipient's address.
• To send a gift to another country, change the delivery country at the top of the page before you shop.

Occasion lists

1. 1Open Occasion lists and fill in New list: the occasion (wedding, new baby, Ramadan, Eid, birthday, new home, other), the List name, an optional date and word to family and friends, and your address, which nobody sees.
2. 2Tap Create the list.
3. 3On any product page, tap Add to an occasion list and pick your list.
4. 4Open the list and tap Share the list to send it on WhatsApp, or copy its link.

Whoever opens your list sees what's still wanted, taps Buy as a gift and completes the order. Gifts arrive at your saved address, which only the delivering seller sees, and the list shows only your first name. Follow progress in My lists (X of Y bought), and when the occasion is over, tap Close the list.
